Innocence Unfurl

Young as they are, they are exposed to life’s misery,

yet it seems that they don’t have a trace of agony.

Their smile and laughter brings to life certain mystery.

Haven’t they thought they’re being treated unequally?

I first thought that I am with them to give,

but they changed my life’s perspective as I leave.

They touched my heart when I started to grieve,

When I saw their situation on where they live.

I smiled as I watch them enjoy life’s simplicity,

In a world where genuine love suffers iniquity,

They taught me a lesson on how not to be angry,

No matter how wrong and painful a situation can be.

If only every person could love as a child,

Then we would not fear since we have nothing to hide.

If every person could see life in the eyes of a child,

Happiness would be attainable even without a guide.

Innocence of each child should always be unfurled,

In the hearts of mankind where love is unheard.

Life will be different they’ll be more concern

To love their fellow being that’s what they will learn.

About Audrey

I am not a typical “girl-next-door”, But I am striving to be a woman of valor. I cannot turn the heads of many people, But I can touch their lives and still be humble. To please my Creator, that is my main goal, To let Him mold me, for me to fit in my role. My other wish is to have a pure soul, And to have a zealous heart like a burning coal. Strength and honor must be my clothing, Purity and honesty, for me is an important thing. To be a woman of principles, that’s what I’m preparing, To make God proud of me as I keep on dazzling. I may not be as perfect as what I want to be, A soldier in the battle that is what I can see. I’ll keep on fighting to solve life’s mystery, To win the battle is the best reward for me!
